Tea Bags

i drink a lot of tea, and that is actually an understatement.  so i thought i would share the fact that although i love nice teas and often order loose leaf teas online, i have a couple of tea bags that are great and readily available at many grocers.  my favorite grocery store tea is twinings brand english breakfast tea followed closely by irish breakfast.  however if one drinks the amount of hot tea throughout the day that i do, then one needs a go-to tea that is inexpensive and comes in a large volume.  for this purpose there is none better than red rose tea.

i love red rose tea.  it is a convenient little tea bag i can drop in my freshly boiled water and let steep as i finish a couple rows of knitting or a few pages of a book.  what is even greater than 100 bags for $4.00?  you get a toy!  yes!  just like getting a toy in your cereal as a child or in your happy meal from a fast food restaurant.  it is so fun to open the box and see what figurine i am getting i sometimes open it at the trunk while loading my groceries.  that's right, i cannot even wait until i get home.  it is so fun and brings back that wonderful childhood feeling of getting the toy out of the cracker jack box.  the figurines are part of a theme and even though i often get multiples of the same figurine in my quest to complete the series and drink as much tea as humanly feasible none of the allure is tarnished.  i often give my repeats to other people as a little gift for no reason, just a happy pick me up for their day.

so if you are an avid tea drinker like myself and must always have a hot cup next to you as you read or knit then this is definitely one you should try.
