So many plans and not much complete.

I made a post last April about some of my knitting plans.  This post is an update to that post and here I sit over a year later.  All current information is in bold type.

The April post is in response to the shawl plans post from January 2014 on this blog:

• Pogona- no change. Again no change.
• Herbivore- still planned.  I have gotten out the yarn I will use and wound it.  No change, but yarn is wound and ready.
  
   
• Daybreak- planned, blogged about, I may be able to cast this on during the month of May. Still have not begun.  Got it out and got pattern printed.  Put the yarn in a project bag, then started working on something else.
• Akimbo- no change. Still no change but looked at the pattern in my Ravelry queue the other day and thought about what yarn I will use.
• Traveling woman-  I actually thought some more about this the other day and got the pattern.  I still need to settle on a yarn choice from stash though.  I have since started this and am currently knitting on it and am on the final 20 rows.
• Ishbel-  I special ordered a new yarn in a nice color for this but that custom order will not be ready until about August, which is good since I have other things to work on first.  I did knit the small version of this shawl and bought yarn for the large version that I would like to knit.
• Mara- still one of my top priorities of this list.  I will most likely cast it on shortly after Daybreak and work on both with no real deadline.  This will use my Emma skein of Neapolitan. No change.
• Stripe Study and Different Lines- still need patterns and will choose stash. I no longer want to make Different Lines, only the Stripe Study and know a few color combinations from my stash I would like to use.
• Brickless and Magrathea- I want to use Miss Babs for one of these since I have never used her yarns nor have any in my stash.  I have been searching colorways and looking at them knit up on ravelry, but this is still a plan in progress.  I have knit Brickless but not Magrathea.
• Matchmaker- no change, except that I also want to make a second one possibly with Zelazny in GLAMtastic and the new colorway Red Red Wine. I wound the yarn for Matchmaker and am using Green Eyed Monster in Zelazny and Blackberry in Dia Shawl and will cast on with Heidi on August 14th, 2015.
• NEW TO THE LIST: 

1. Summer Flies- a shawl I admired before and recently decided to actually make it, most likely with Octavia or Elizabeth yarn by HaldeCraft.  I made this using one skein of Buttercream in Elizabeth.
2. Nostalgia Shawl- a shawl I bought the pattern and kit for just this month.  It will be my first pattern from this designer as well as my first time ordering and using her yarn.  I still plan to start this and have wound the yarn for it.
3. Sherilyn- not new to the needles though.  It has been on the needles since I started it and finished the first chart.  I have had it hibernating and need focus to work on it so I don't mess up.  It is still hibernating.
4. Crest of the Wave Baktus- this one replaced my plan to use Trifid Nebula for the Ripples shawl.  I was going to try and squeeze this project into the KAL that ran from Feb thru March and got the yarn wound but sock knitting took the show.  So maybe I can get this cast on in the next 3 months with no real deadline to finish. I still haven't made this and am not sure I still want to.

My sock knitting plans:

• Work on the Tramlines socks in Flourite that I started last night. Done.
• Finish DD's socks I started in February and only need a heel and toe on one to be done. Done.
• Make those knee socks for Dad by this Christmas.  Nope.
• Make that other Sock Monkey Monkey Sock for mom by this Christmas and make a mate for mine. Gifted mom the existing pair and have plans to knit myself a pair by the end of the year.
• Make socks with Quasar, X-Ray, Trifolium and a few others consecutively. So far have only made the ones using X-ray and have wound the Trifolium.
• Make a pair of socks with Felici for me and a pair for DD and DS. Nope.
