My Mom was so fond of those socks that she kept hounding me for her own pair. I was trying hard to put that off until Christmas to make it her gift this year, but then she signed me up for Yarn Club and I decided she deserved them right away and would get fingering weight fancy socks for Christmas. I made her pair with Knit Picks Chroma as well, also just the one ball and even had about 10 grams left after bind off since she has smaller feet than Dad. I still used a different yarn for the heels though to mimic the first pair. For her heels I again used the Paton's Wool but in the Royal Purple colorway.
This blog will contain miscellaneous bits about my daily life. There will be a focus in the areas of books and reading, yarn and knitting, as well as tea and coffee. Please, come sit with me by a window, whether it be raining or shining, and share my thoughts and passions.

Slipper Socks Pt. 2
These are the finished pair I made for Dad for Father's Day this year. I finished them in one week, using one entire ball of Knit Picks Chroma Worsted in the Fossil colorway for the body of the sock and Paton's Wool in Chestnut Brown for the heels.
